Business Development Specialist / Expert – EPC, Project Cargo & Fabrication (SAQR 2.0)

Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer – RAK Ports

RAK Ports is expanding its commercial footprint as part of the strategic SAQR 2.0 growth platform, and we are looking for a seasoned Business Development Expert to lead our efforts across EPC, Project Cargo, Heavy Lift, Breakbulk, and Fabrication sectors.

This is a senior-level, high-impact role for someone who thrives on creating value, closing complex deals, and positioning integrated port solutions for global industrial clients. You will work closely with global EPCs, project freight forwarders, steel fabricators, and OEMs across energy and infrastructure markets.

What You’ll Do

• Target and onboard clients in EPC, fabrication, and breakbulk logistics

• Build commercial cases and pitch decks for strategic investors and clients

• Shape and deliver custom solutions for modular fabrication and heavy logistics

• Travel frequently to engage stakeholders across the GCC, Asia, Europe, and Africa

• Support long-term growth by aligning with regional mega-project pipelines

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years in project cargo, EPC contracting, fabrication, or related port operations

• Proven commercial success with large-scale industrial clients

• Deep network across EPCs, heavy lift operators, and fabrication yards

• Strong commercial modeling (Excel: NPV/IRR) and presentation skills (PowerPoint)

• Collaborative mindset and willingness to travel
