The Position

As a Business Development Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will :

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to inform and refine business strategies.
  • Support new product development initiatives by providing market insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to drive business growth.
  • Track, analyse, and report on key business development metrics to ensure alignment with organisational goals.

The Business Development Specialist is authorised to identify, evaluate, and recommend new sales and marketing growth opportunities, including, sales channels, and product development initiatives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or pharma. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in identifying growth opportunities and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Familiarity with sales channel strategies, pricing models, or new product development is highly desirable.
  • Background in the pharma, medical devices or FMCG sector.
  • Strategic thinking, market insights, negotiation expertise, analytical and project management skills.
  • Collaboration, good stakeholder management and problem-solving attitude.

About the Department

The Business Development team in Dubai is a close-knit group of 5 development specialists and 1 marketing development manager. Together, we are part of the Sales and Marketing department, working in a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere to drive Novo Nordisk's growth in the region.
