We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive the strategy and operational excellence of our Aviation business across the UAE and international markets. This is a critical leadership role that oversees aviation operations, assets, project development, JV management, and technical standards for one of the region’s most prominent players in the jet fuel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Asset Management
- Lead the direction, performance, and compliance of all aviation operations locally and overseas, ensuring adherence to EHS, quality, and service standards.
- Oversee the entire supply chain, including ship supplies, refinery interfaces, airport storage, product transfer, and into-plane operations.
- Manage all ENOC aviation assets (owned and JV), including strategic planning, upgrades, replacements, and procurement.
- Ensure operational alignment with ENOC’s $1B aviation refuelling liability insurance, addressing gaps and mitigating risks.
New Business Development & Project Management
- Build strategic relationships with oil companies, airport authorities, airlines, governments, and suppliers to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Lead business negotiations and execute commercially and operationally viable agreements.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, from concept to commissioning, ensuring seamless stakeholder engagement and timely handover.
Technical Leadership & Advisory
- Define and maintain global-standard operational procedures, safety guidelines, and quality control protocols.
- Provide expert technical services to JV partners and third parties, ensuring compliance with ENOC Aviation’s manuals and standards.
Joint Venture Oversight
- Serve as Chairman of JV Management and Technical Committees, driving consensus on investments, operations, and major projects.
- Act as the key liaison with Dubai Airports and oil company stakeholders on fuel infrastructure decisions.
- Resolve complex JV and stakeholder issues with a focus on safeguarding ENOC’s strategic interests.
Brand Stewardship & Strategic Guidance
- Position ENOC Aviation as a leading regional and global aviation fuel operator through strong industry representation, safe operations, and service excellence.
- Collaborate with marketing and group service departments to shape aviation strategies, assess business risks, and define KPIs and targets.
Minimum Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in the jet fuel industry.
- At least 8 years in a senior aviation operations role and 5 years in aviation facilities construction, maintenance, and project management.
- Proven leadership in aviation supply chain operations with expertise in QC, QA, commercial agreements, and operational excellence.
