We are offering you the opportunity to join our team as a Business Development Manager with project management functions (Project Logistics Department) in our Abu Dhabi branch.
Main Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in project logistics, focusing on HL / OOG and complex cargo solutions.
- Lead sales efforts, including prospecting, client engagement, and contract negotiations to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor for technical and logistical challenges.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business by delivering exceptional service and value-added solutions.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the execution of logistics projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Manage project risks and compliance while maintaining structured documentation and up-to-date forecasts.
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting, ensuring profitability and cost control. Track project costs and revenue, identifying areas for financial improvement.
- Technical Solutions & Project Planning:
- Develop and implement tailored technical solutions for complex project logistics, including route surveys, lifting plans, and cargo securing strategies.
- Provide expertise in engineering solutions for HL / OOG cargo, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.
Our Expectations:
- 5+ years of experience in OOG or heavy-lift logistics, preferably within an international context.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, particularly in industrial projects.
- Experience with projects in the Middle East.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Deep knowledge of transportation with Project Cargo.
- Preference for candidates with their own portfolio of contacts/customers.
