Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sofa sales across retail, hospitality, and interior design projects, positioning Huxberry as the go-to brand for premium, customizable, and sustainable sofas. This role blends sales, client engagement, and market development, with direct accountability for revenue targets and brand expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Growth: Achieve sales targets through retail showroom leads, interior designers, contractors, and direct clients.
- Business Development: Build partnerships with design studios, hospitality groups, and project developers to secure upholstery contracts.
- Client Engagement: Conduct presentations, consultations, and site visits to understand client requirements and offer tailored sofa solutions.
- Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities in luxury residential and hospitality markets, including premium retail collaborations.
- Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of Huxberry sofa collections, fabrics, comfort options, and customization capabilities to position our products effectively.
- Networking & Brand Building: Represent Huxberry at trade shows, design fairs, and industry networking events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design, operations, and marketing teams to ensure smooth project execution and impactful sales campaigns.
Requirements
- Preferable 5+ years of proven sales or business development experience in sofas, upholstery, or luxury interiors / furniture.
- Strong network of contacts among interior designers, architects, developers, and hospitality procurement teams in the UAE / GCC.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to build and close high-value deals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable with premium clientele.
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of upholstery, fabrics, and sofa construction is highly advantageous.
