Overview

The purpose of the role is to perform assistance to the operation team by transporting staff / material within the city and externally as when required. The Guest Driver is responsible for providing safe, comfortable, and professional transportation services to hotel guests. We are looking for a personal driver direct to the CEO. The driver may be requested to take care of other drivers’ tasks in the event of sickness or holiday leave or as directed by the supervisor or logistics management. The role includes transporting employer’s relatives, visitors, business partners and associates to and from places, taking precautions to protect vehicles, and transporting NDT equipment and personnel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the employer’s relatives, visitors, business partners and associates to and from places
• Provide safe, comfortable, and professional transportation services to hotel guests (Guest Driver)
• Drive for the CEO as a personal driver
• Safely transport NDT equipment and personnel to various job sites
• Remain compliant with safety requirements and maintain a valid state driver license
• Update daily driver checklists and follow up on operational trip emails
• Document all trips prior to start and at conclusion of each trip
• Park vehicle in designated location when not in use
• Run daily log reports (arrivals, departures) and check reports for accuracy
• Inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness; check tire pressure and fluid levels; refuel as necessary
• Document all vehicle incidents using the vehicle application and report incidents to manager/supervisor
• Take care of other drivers’ tasks in the event of sickness or holiday leave, as directed by supervisor or logistics management
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects as required within safety guidelines
• Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and ladders as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver, preferably for a facilities management company
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Must maintain a valid state driver license and be qualified to operate government general-purpose vehicle
• Ability to communicate in English; High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience driving multiple vehicle types (bus/minibus up to 15 seats, van up to 6 seats, saloon 5 seats, SUV up to 7 seats)
• Experience with documenting trips, safety procedures, and compliance related to civil engineering or construction-related roles (as applicable)
