Responsibilities

Purpose of Position:

This position is responsible for the execution of MSA's FP strategy in the Middle East and related product, sales development, and go-to-market tactics. This position will drive a consistent regional approach and methodology for our sales initiatives across the FP business development spectrum. This position is responsible for building a comprehensive business Oil and Gas Segment (Upstream & Downstream, mostly focusing on Upstream) in the Middle East, and growing our position into a market share leader among the major OGP. In this role, the incumbent will focus on driving strategic opportunities with a key focus on the strategic end-users while clearly communicating MSA's value proposition.

Major responsibilities:

Develop, drive and increase sales

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy/plan for growing MSA's products (PPE & Engineered Systems) into the Middle East.
  • Identify new business opportunities and ways of penetrating target markets.
  • Develop strategic relationships with targeted end-customers through a direct interface.
  • Manage interactions with current and future customers.
  • Nurture cross collaboration with Industry Sales Managers and maintain consistent relationships to leverage synergies across the region.

Develop and implement a strategic accounts sales process

  • Develop a strategic pipeline for strategic accounts and target them as opportunities for growth.
  • Develop a standardized process for selling the vision of MSA to strategic partners as a key driver for growth.
  • Develop and foster deep relationships with key influencers for strategic accounts.
  • Grow market share by identifying opportunities to obtain competitive conversions and new growth within the Fall Protection market, segments such as Oil and Gas (Upstream & Downstream), while working across the Middle East to grow integrator network revenues.

Market Training and Execution

  • Collaborate with MSA's training departments to ensure Sales and Marketing leadership, Field Sales teams, and Customer service departments have adequate knowledge of product for target markets to successfully execute our strategy.
  • Deliver product sales training to end clients, Channel partner sales organizations, and Integrators.

Identify Opportunities For Other Functions Within The MSA Organization

  • Having a high level of product knowledge across ranges.
  • Identify and exploit key opportunities to cross-sell other MSA products and services.
  • Maintain day-to-day contact with other MSA sales associates to ensure effective communication, drive sales efficiency, and maximize sales revenue per sales visit made.

Qualifications

Experience required:

  • 4+ years of sales experience in Oil & Gas sector / key account management.
  • Strong understanding of current industry technical standards and practices.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Upstream segment.
  • Proven business development and account management track record.
  • Experience in developing business with End Users and regional partners.
  • Experience in building, maintaining, and growing customer networks.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful sales and go-to-market strategies.
  • Safety Industry Experience.
  • Project Sales Expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate on all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and systematically.
  • Ability to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.

Experience preferred:

  • Industry knowledge.
  • Background in Energy / Offshore environment with key contacts still active.

Travel: more than 70% of the time.
