About the Role

As MLA’s Business Development Manager – MENA , you’ll be instrumental in developing and executing strategic programs to significantly boost the demand for Australian beef, lamb, and goatmeat across the dynamic and rapidly growing Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

This is a unique opportunity to directly impact the success of a vital Australian industry on an international scale, contributing to economic growth and fostering new market opportunities.

Our ideal Business Development Manager - MENA has :

  • Marketing / business development experience in the food industry
  • Proven history of successful teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Some existing knowledge / experience in Australian red meat industry is preferred (including technical knowledge of red meat packaging, shelf life, food safety, industry systems, NPD process)
  • History or demonstration of successfully dealing and / or negotiating with international stakeholders – industry & government
