About Our Team

Are you looking to join an industry-leading sales organization? Our business development sales team is dedicated to cultivating and executing strategic approaches to acquire new customers within the energy, petrochemical, and fertilizer industries.

About The Role

The MEA Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new business by selling ICIS solutions to prospects within an assigned territory. You will plan, organize, and execute sales campaigns with an emphasis on new business acquisition.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Prospecting and engaging with clients through effective conversations, including LinkedIn posts and engagement with potential customers.
  2. Handling inbound leads with a consultative sales approach, identifying challenges and problems prospects are trying to solve.
  3. Planning, organizing, and executing sales campaigns to target prospective customers, with support from your manager.
  4. Managing the full sales cycle using a consultative, value-based selling approach.
  5. Collaborating with departments such as marketing, legal, product, and senior leadership. Managing the entire customer onboarding, sales cycle, and delivery of ICIS solutions to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Requirements
  1. 1 to 3 years of sales experience in DaaS or SaaS, preferably with knowledge of the Energy, Chemicals, and Sustainability sectors.
  2. High energy, self-motivation, competitiveness, and a desire to positively impact the business.
  3. Proven sales habits leading to success; formal value-based selling training (e.g., Challenger) is preferred.
  4. Ability to meet professional goals and openness to sales coaching.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic (Fluent or Secondary Language).
