Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for our Marine Division, focusing on shipbuilding, ship repair, and marine engineering services. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, a proven sales background, and established connections within the maritime sector, especially in GCC regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the marine, shipbuilding, and ship repair sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with shipowners, shipyards, EPC contractors, and marine consultants.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, cost estimates, and presentations tailored to client needs.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming marine projects.

  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings locally and internationally.

  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and contribute to the division’s long-term growth strategy.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business development within the shipbuilding or ship repair sector.

  • Strong network within the marine/maritime industry (especially UAE/GCC preferred).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to close high-value deals.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
