Job Description

SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our JUMBO Enterprise team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing new business opportunities, while driving revenue growth and ensuring client satisfaction in the managed IT services domain.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
    Develop and implement a robust business development strategy to grow the company’s portfolio in managed IT services, including ITSM, DXM, APM, UEM, Asset Management, Patch Management, and SLA-based Manpower Services.
    Identify new market opportunities, sectors, and verticals to target for expansion and revenue generation.
    Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation, prospecting, and qualification to closing deals and contract negotiation.
  2. Client Needs Assessment & Solution Design:
    Engage with potential clients to understand their specific business requirements, IT challenges, and goals.
    Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to design customized managed IT services solutions that address clients' pain points and operational needs.
    Provide expert consultation and make recommendations on the best-fit solutions across the lifecycle of IT services (ITSM, DXM, APM, UEM, Asset Management, Patch Management, etc.).
  3. Manpower Services:
    Collaborate with HR to generate quotes for Manpower resources.
    Collaborate with HR to arrange CVs to coordinate with customers to shortlist resources.
    Develop and manage SLA-based offerings, ensuring a clear understanding of client expectations, service delivery timelines, and performance metrics.
  4. Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
    Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in ITSM, DXM, APM, UEM, Asset Management, and Patch Management.
    Continuously refine the business development strategy to adapt to evolving market conditions and customer needs.
  5. Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers across target organizations.
    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the sales cycle and throughout the lifecycle of service delivery.
    Ensure clients are satisfied with service delivery and continuously explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional IT services.
  6. Reporting and Performance Monitoring:
    Monitor sales performance against set targets and KPIs, providing regular updates to senior management.
    Maintain an up-to-date CRM system to track sales activities, client communications, and pipeline development.
    Provide accurate sales forecasts and ensure timely reporting on business development activities.
  7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, technical, delivery, etc.) to ensure smooth handoffs and effective communication throughout the sales process and service delivery.
    Participate in regular business development meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the IT services industry, with a focus on managed services, ITSM, DXM, APM, UEM, Asset Management, Patch Management, and SLA-based manpower services.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales and revenue growth in complex IT solutions and services.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Managed IT Services, EMS tools like ITSM, DXM, APM, UEM, Asset Management and Patch Management.
  • Expertise in crafting and managing SLA-based services, with a deep understanding of service level agreements and performance management.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and proposal development skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (master’s degree a plus).
  • Relevant certifications in ITSM (e.g., ITIL), APM, UEM, or related IT service management frameworks are highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work well with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
