Job description

The primary purpose of the job is to develop and grow the Liquid and Combustion (L&C) product line business within the Analytical & Detection Portfolio of Measurement Solutions (MSOL) of Emerson. This position is intended to drive technology adoption / acceptance of this business in Middle East and Africa by taking ownership of the product group!

In this role, your responsibilities will be :

Product Management

  • Lead product management, business development, sales support, and project pursuit across MEA to achieve L&C sales targets
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by identifying and implementing solutions aligned with MSOL and L&C needs
  • Drive product and factory approvals at key accounts
  • Stay current on product, industry, and market trends; maintain sales tools and implement A&D marketing activities
  • Deliver financial and marketing forecasts, pricing insights, competitor analysis, and country marketing plans in collaboration with regional sales
  • Strengthen sales and support teams’ knowledge of L&C products, applications, and industry dynamics

Business Development

  • Own and implement key initiatives in the L&C Strategic Plan
  • Drive quality lead generation and provide leadership in sales campaigns
  • Support regional teams in engaging customers, Emerson partners, and LBPs to prioritize efforts, capture intelligence, and improve service in line with L&C strategies and Key Account Plans
  • Collaborate with MSOL and other Emerson Platforms to improve content pull-through and identify growth opportunities
  • Lead small engineered solutions initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategies for non-O&G markets such as Power & Water, Pharma, and Chemicals
  • Provide accurate forecasts (orders and units) to support financial and manufacturing planning
  • Assist regional and digital sales teams, and partners across MEA
  • Lead key pursuits from demand creation to deal closure at strategic accounts
  • Support proposal generation processes to ensure quote quality, service levels, and hit rates are meeting expectations
  • Contribute to project sales strategies, maintain pursuit tracking, and provide regular reports and forecasts
  • Coach customer-facing salespersons on product features, industry, and application knowledge, as well as customer / industry situational fluency
  • Provide technical support in pre-sales processes, clarifications, and re-engineering as needed to align with client / project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with Emerson’s trade procedures across all business activities

For this job, you will need :

  • An Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the process automation industry, specifically in : Liquid and gas analytical and detection products, Engaging with end users, influencers, OEMs, System Integrators, and EPCs
  • Adhere to Emerson Health, Safety & Environment standards!
