Job Description

Following a successful pilot in 2023 and the official launch in Dubai, Malt is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager based in Dubai to cover the UAE and KSA markets. This is a strategic, full‑stack sales role aimed at acquiring, establishing, and nurturing long‑term partnerships with our most important clients and supporting the region’s growth.

Our team contributes to major projects in the region, such as the Vision 2030 initiatives in Saudi Arabia, with a focus on helping large consulting firms, private, and public organizations address staffing challenges in a fast‑growing environment. As one of the first employees in the Middle East, you will have a strategic impact and help shape the local team culture.

We are looking for an entrepreneur to help Malt scale in the region and to become a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them to maximize the value of independent freelancers and a flexible talent strategy.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop your key accounts (tier 1 consulting firms, public sector, large private organizations of 2000 FTE and above).
  • Define your client territory by industry and size and design, implement, and execute a go‑to‑market plan to grow each account.
  • Become a trusted advisor for clients, helping them adapt their organization and processes to leverage a flexible talent strategy.
  • Network with regional consultants to understand the rise of consulting and opportunities for large companies in the Middle East.
  • Educate the market on the benefits of using independent consultants and freelancers to increase agility and flexibility.
  • Provide local insights from users to enhance the product and Malt value proposition.
  • Support the Middle East launch and the commercial team with external analyses, benchmarks, and customer‑experience optimization.
About You
  • 3+ years of professional experience in complex enterprise sales / business development
  • Ideally experience in the consulting, staffing or technology industry
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus
  • Excellent formal communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage C‑level decision makers
  • Excited about creating something new in a booming market
How to join the mission?
  1. First call with Esra from the Talent Team to discuss your background and aspirations.
  2. Interview with Soufya, Middle East Director and your future manager (45–60 minutes).
  3. Prepare a case study to present to two current Business Development Managers (1 hour).
  4. Final interview with Quentin (GM UK, Benelux, MEA) to discuss Malt\'s long‑term vision and any remaining questions (30–45 minutes).

Malt is a welcoming space to thrive personally and professionally.
