Position Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their Contract Logistics team in the UAE. Based in Dubai, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth through strategic customer acquisition, solution-based selling, and development of customized logistics offerings. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of contract logistics, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build long-term partnerships across key sectors.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in contract logistics , including warehousing, distribution, and value-added services (e.g., kitting, packaging).
  • Develop and execute a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Engage and maintain long-term relationships with key clients across e-commerce, retail, FMCG, and automotive sectors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft tailored logistics solutions that address client needs and operational challenges.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle , including RFP / RFQ submissions, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and SLA development.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer demands, and competitive positioning in the UAE and GCC contract logistics landscape.
  • Ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational capabilities, working closely with warehouse and transportation teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, bonded warehousing, and regional logistics best practices.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in contract logistics sales , with a strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, and value-added services.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing client portfolios in the logistics sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in solution selling and creating end-to-end service models.
  • Experience working with clients in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, and automotive sectors.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC logistics markets , including customs clearance and bonded warehouse operations.
  • Skilled in proposal development , RFP / RFQ management, and contract negotiations .
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving business development targets and revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driving license and own vehicle (preferred).
