Job Summary.

Reporting to the Artificial Sales & Business Development Manager EHO, the candidate will be responsible for developing business through the Artificial Lift portfolio verticals - Progressive Cavity Pumps (PCP), Rod Lift Accessories (RLA), Automation (AUTO), and Hydraulic Pumping Units (HPU).

The candidate is expected to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily around and near the Gulf region, establishing relationships and generating new business within the Gulf (GCC) region. Additional travel areas may be assigned within MENA and Asia as directed by management.

The candidate must have existing technical and commercial understanding of PCP systems; additional knowledge of RLA and HPU is advantageous.

Success will be monitored through detailed Customer Visit Reports (CVRs), maintaining an updated opportunity register on the company's CRM portal, and through revenue growth and product qualification with end users where appropriate.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Promote NOV ALS verticals (PCP, RLA, AUTO, HPU) within the defined sales territory.
  2. Report sales activities through the company CRM platform.
  3. Coordinate the sales process utilizing the larger organization for inside sales support.
  4. Coordinate product qualification processes with support from the wider organization.
  5. Complete monthly financial revenue forecasting reports.
  6. Engage with the legal team for creation of specific agreements and sales contracts.
  7. Achieve product qualification and revenue targets as determined by ALS BD EH.
  8. Personal and Interpersonal Skills
  9. Create a compelling vision or sense of purpose and communicate it effectively to internal and external customers.
  10. Relate effectively with both executives and operators; communicate goals and progress.
  11. Be flexible and adaptable when facing challenges.
  12. Negotiate firmly and diplomatically.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ years' experience in sales and operation of Artificial Lift systems in an oilfield environment.
  • 1-3+ years' experience in a Business Development role, ideally within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience with preparation and testing of artificial lift equipment, familiarity with API/ISO standards.
  • Experience with financial forecasting.
  • Experience in strategy formulation and execution.
  • Ability to work independently, report regularly, and align with business strategy.
  • Ability to collaborate with legal, technical, and commercial teams to ensure compliant growth.

Essential for this role :

  • Technical understanding of the design, manufacture, installation, and support for Artificial Lift systems.
  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Proven sales track record with successful account strategy implementation.
  • Understanding of incoterms, contract formulation, and legal collaboration.
  • Experience with CRM platforms.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, with certification of competency.

Desirable :

  • Additional technical knowledge of AUTO, RLA, and HPU.
  • Experience with CFER and S-ROD design software.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
