Job description

NMK Technologies, a prominent AV distributor in the Middle East, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for business development, coupled with a competitive and creative business mindset. Prior experience in the AV industry is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth, increasing customer acquisition, and building long-term client relationships. Regular travel to engage directly with clients in their environments is a key aspect of the role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive all product sales activity within the Middle East through integrators and resellers.
  2. Work with regional systems integrators and resellers to grow market share and develop the NMK portfolio.
  3. Participate in sales activities, including customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations, and customer seminars.
  4. Negotiate to win orders with the most beneficial commercial and financial terms.
  5. Responsible for the development and analysis of market information for strategic planning purposes.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information on the CRM/ERP system.
  7. Work with the marketing team to develop a strong reference portfolio.
  8. Develop a close relationship with technical support and application teams to support onsite support and queries.
  9. Quarterly, submit and implement a detailed business plan identifying sales objectives, sales opportunities, and major customers for the following fiscal year.
  10. Support the in-line manager with the recruitment of new sales networks in the Middle East.
  11. Collect and report information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory.
  12. Create demand for brands and products by demoing them to end-users and building relationships with consultants.
  13. Work with the associated team members to reach their sales targets and ensure that sales targets are met.
  14. Maintain a relationship with clients in the UAE market.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  2. 3 - 4 years prior industry related business development experience.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies.
  5. Focused and goal-oriented.
