Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will manage the entire sales cycle, including responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), conducting product demonstrations, and acquiring new clients globally. The candidate should be self-motivated, results-driven, and excellent at building relationships with prospects. Responsibilities include identifying, engaging, and converting leads into long-term clients, collaborating with internal teams, and expanding the company's global presence and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities; analyze data to inform strategies; contribute to pricing strategies.
  2. Sales Cycle Management: Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to closing; respond to RFPs; develop proposals; conduct product demos; identify upsell opportunities.
  3. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Qualify opportunities via inbound/outbound methods; research and target accounts; respond promptly to leads; collaborate with marketing; represent at industry events.
  4. Pipeline Development: Build and maintain sales pipeline; track leads using CRM tools.
  5. Client Engagement: Act as initial contact, build trust, drive webinar and event attendance, and be available for client meetings outside standard hours.
  6. Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, implementation, and operations teams; mentor junior staff; update sales materials; coordinate activities across teams.
  7. Strategic Partnerships: Develop partnerships; negotiate agreements; manage relationships.
  8. Product Development Feedback: Provide market and customer insights to product teams.
  9. SMART Goals: Build a pipeline with 30+ leads/quarter, achieve 15% conversion in 6 months, respond to leads within 24 hours, generate $1M+ in revenue, acquire 10+ clients/year, conduct 20+ demos/quarter.
