A global logistics firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in logistics. Responsibilities include generating leads, building client relationships, and executing sales strategies. This role is critical for expanding the company's customer base across various sectors.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead new client acquisition efforts for our global logistics client.
This role is critical in expanding our clients customer base, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across key verticals such as retail, electronics, FMCG, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation & Prospecting
* Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and cold outreach.
* Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
* Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
* Initiate contact with prospective clients to understand their logistics needs.
* Deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements.
* Sales Strategy & Execution:
* Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
* Collaborate with internal teams (operations, pricing, solutions) to craft competitive offerings.
* Market Intelligence:
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
* Provide feedback to senior management on market dynamics and customer expectations.
* Reporting & CRM Management:
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
* Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree
* Experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
* Proven track record of acquiring new clients and achieving sales targets.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
