Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the sales process and build relationships in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in Engineering, ideally with an MBA or Commercial/Finance expertise, and at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the defense or high technology sector. Excellent English communication skills are mandatory, and a second language is advantageous. The role requires international travel and a proactive approach to business development.

Job Description

Demonstrating excellent executive-selling skills, the candidate will be responsible for the complete business development and sales process: research markets, identify potential partners, develop, and find concrete business opportunities, build strong customer relationships at all levels, and successfully close contracts.

Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering. An MBA or Commercial/ Finance degree will be considered a strong asset.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a similar position, preferably in the defense or high technology sector with mandatory international market exposure.
  • Excellent command of the English language is a must. Knowledge of a second language is considered a great advantage.
  • Excellent communication, cooperation, and presentation skills.
  • Availability for international traveling.
  • A clear determination to win business, the ability to think “outside the box” and an entrepreneurial approach are a prerequisite for the position.
