We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a solid background in the construction industry and an engineering degree (civil, structural, or mechanical). This role will be pivotal in leading strategic partnerships and driving client acquisition. The ideal candidate will also champion our green steel initiative and promote the adoption of sustainable construction practices throughout the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate pre-qualification and approval processes for upcoming projects by aligning with key stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Partnership Development:
• Identify, engage, and establish strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with leading real estate developers, construction firms, and consultants.
• Sustainable Construction Advocacy:
• Promote the use of our eco-friendly steel across projects aimed at reducing the carbon footprint in construction.
• Client Engagement:
• Work closely with developers, architects, consultants, and contractors to educate and influence the adoption of green steel solutions.
• Sales Enablement:
• Coordinate with internal sales and technical teams to align client needs with product capabilities and sustainability goals.
• Market Intelligence:
• Continuously monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving sustainability regulations in the construction industry within UAE, GCC/MENA, and worldwide.
• Possess working knowledge of trade finance preparation.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with engineering experience (civil/structural/mechanical).
• Project Coordination:
• Track project pipelines and ensure our products are specified and procured at various stages of construction.
• Possess working knowledge of trade finance preparation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mandatory).
• 5–10 years of experience in business development or client-facing roles in the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Proven track record of engaging with large developers and closing strategic deals.
• Strong understanding of construction materials and sustainability in construction, with proven leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for green technologies and sustainability initiatives.
• Knowledge of project supervision, planning, proposals, technical submissions, and compliance with project and authority requirements.
• Ability to lead teams successfully.
