Job Description

PREAMBLE

The Manager Business Development will be responsible for driving techno-commercial sales of BlueVerse s automated vehicle washing machines in UAE. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of these washing systems and implementation of the Wash As A Service (WAAS) model.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS KPI

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Sales conversion:

  • KRA 1.1: Generate 25 numbers of qualified leads per quarter for automated vehicle washing machines.
  • KRA 1.2: Achieve a 10% conversion rate from qualified leads to signed contracts.

Project Management and Coordination:

  • KRA 2.1: Achieve a 95% on-time completion rate for machine installations.
  • KRA 2.2: Reduce the average project lead time from initial contact to installation by 10 days.
  • KRA 2.3: Maintain a 90% satisfaction rating from internal teams (state heads, service, installation, logistics) regarding project coordination.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • KRA 3.1: Achieve a 90% customer retention rate for the WAAS model.
  • KRA 3.2: Resolve all customer inquiries and complaints within 3 business days.
  • KRA 3.3: Conduct 10 customer satisfaction surveys per quarter to identify areas for improvement.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • KRA 4.1: Submit weekly sales reports with key metrics (leads, conversion rates, sales pipeline) on time and with accurate data.
  • KRA 4.2: Identify and report on market trends and competitor activity that could impact sales strategies.
  • KRA 4.3: Develop and present quarterly business reviews analyzing sales performance and recommending actions for improvement.

Legal and Administrative & Budget Management:

  • KRA 5.1: Ensure all contracts and NDAs are executed with no legal issues within a set timeframe (e.g., 1 week after agreement).
  • KRA 5.2: Maintain complete and accurate legal and administrative documentation for all business development activities.
  • KRA 5.3: Stay within the allocated budget for business development activities and report any variances with justification.
  • Increased sales of BlueVerse s automated vehicle washing machines.
  • Successful implementation of WAAS for new customers.
  • Timely project completion and machine installation.
  • Strong relationships built with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accurate and insightful sales reports submitted to senior management.
  • Efficient use of budget allocated for business development activities.

Required Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

Knowledge:

  • Automated Vehicle Washing Technology: Understanding of the technical aspects, capabilities, and benefits of automated washing machines.
  • UAE Market: Understanding of the UAE automotive industry, potential customer segments, and market trends relevant to automated vehicle washing solutions.
  • Business Development Strategies: Knowledge of effective B2B sales and lead generation strategies, particularly for high-ticket and innovative products.
  • Contractual Agreements: Familiarity with standard business contracts and NDAs, including their negotiation and execution.
  • Budgeting and Resource Management: Knowledge of basic budgeting principles and ability to manage resources efficiently within allocated budgets.

Skills:

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills to build rapport and present technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Relationship Management: Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, team members, and partners.

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering or MBA in Business Administration/Techno-Commercial Project Management (or a related field).
  • 5-8 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in techno-commercial sales within the manufacturing or automotive industry
