Job Summary

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and driving revenue in the UAE market. This role requires an ambitious, strategic thinker with a solid understanding of the UAE market and a proven track record in business development and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Has the ability to close the full sales cycle with strong expertise of maintaining customer trust and relationship.
  • Create target list for each product focusing on key industries leaders. Track, report and deliver agreed monthly sales targets.
  • Research potential organizations and build future pipeline of prospects who qualify for new sales leads.
  • Proficiency in ZoomInfo, LinkedIn and CRM.
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers across UAE.
  • Create a sales plan for each quarter, and deliver presentations to all current and potential clients on YGG products.
  • Track all sales activities in CRM and update the account information to reflect weekly sales progress.
  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments in order to resolve the issue.
  • Participate in conferences, meetings, and industry events to accelerate YGG presence in Dubai.
  • Support the Sales Director in developing quotes and proposals.
  • Collect market intelligence on product, competition and identify opportunities for growth areas in the UAE market.
  • Propose new services or features to our customers to build joint business plans with YOUGotaGift.
  • Optimize the customers’ portfolio, their spending habits and commercial efficiency with YOUGotaGift.
  • Demonstrate natural curiosity to learn a variety of internal business tools while delivering excellent customer experience.
  • Partner with Sales and Product teams to provide customer perspective as well as customer-driven product improvement ideas.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years of business development, sales, or partnerships experience, ideally within the digital, technology, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the UAE market, with an established network and a deep understanding of local business practices and culture.
  • Collaboration: A Strong team player and collaborate with YGG teams across UAE and other countries.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets and growing new and existing business, including calling, convincing and presentation skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable business strategies.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly driven, proactive, and able to work independently to achieve goals.
