Job Description

Looking for a Business Development Manager– Specialty Chemicals / Performance Chemicals

The Business Development Manager will develop the sales of chemicals to Paints & Coatings, Resin, Construction Chemicals, Rubber Chemicals, Oil field chemicals, Petrochemical refinery chemicals.

Types of products handled are considered as Specialty or Performance chemicals & Semi Specialty chemicals

This position will require the candidate to:

  • Manage existing Customer and Supplier relationships and develop new Customer & new supplier relationships ·
  • Grow the business with existing businesses and identifying opportunities for profitable growth ·
  • Must be able to negotiate prices and terms with both suppliers and customers ·
  • Participate in the Planning and implementation of strategies to improve sales & supply share with customers ·
  • Prepare an annual sales budget, monitor product sales ·
  • provide written reports on sales and development activities as requested ·
  • Manage inventory levels to support business ·
  • Collaborate with supportive functions to provide smooth customer service & Payment receivables,
  • collection of receivables / statutory documents
  • Prefer candidates with established industry contacts, familiar with industry's terminology, common practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree or PG in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering with experience in handling market development of Specialty chemical Performance chemicals, experience technical service in any of the target market segment
  • Candidates with 3 to 7 Yrs. experience in above would be preferred
  • Candidates with Techono commercial / Technical Sales background can also apply.
  • Joining time within 30 to 40 days preferred.
  • To have valid UAE Driving License / GCC Driving License
