Overview:
We are seeking a commercially focused Business Development Manager to lead new revenue growth in the Sports & Entertainment channel. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities across clubs, federations, venues, rights-holders, promoters, and agencies.
The successful candidate will serve as a key commercial representative—owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure—while working closely with our delivery and account management teams to ensure a smooth handover and long-term client satisfaction.
This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in SaaS sales and deep familiarity with the Sports & Entertainment ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment and who brings a strong understanding of stakeholder dynamics within the region.
You will be expected to maintain a healthy pipeline, build relationships with decision-makers, and tailor commercial offers that align with client needs. A background in selling tech solutions into the sports or events sectors is essential, and a strong network within the UAE market is highly advantageous.
What you’ll do:
• Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline through outbound efforts and partner collaboration
• Lead discovery calls, product demonstrations, and proposal development to meet client needs
• Respond to RFPs and craft compelling commercial offers tailored to key decision-makers
• Accurately forecast revenue and maintain CRM discipline (opportunities, activities, follow-ups)
• Present confidently to senior stakeholders across clubs, federations, and entertainment bodies
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding post-sale
• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive activity, and the evolving needs of Sports & Entertainment clients
What you’ll bring:
• 2+ years of successful SaaS new-business sales experience with a consistent track record
• Proven ability to sell into the Sports & Entertainment sector (clubs, rights-holders, federations, etc.)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English
• A consultative sales mindset with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals
Nice to have:
• An existing UAE network across sports clubs, federations, leagues, venues, or major event organizers
• Familiarity with long-cycle B2B sales processes and stakeholder mapping
• Experience working with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Arabic language skills
