Job Description

We are hiring a Business Development Manager (Saudi National) to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The role involves expanding our portfolio by directly acquiring new customers, identifying opportunities, building relationships, and driving growth.

Responsibilities
  • Build pipeline and enhance relationships with prospects
  • Ensure long-term profitability and quality of the customer portfolio through proper policies
  • Reach targets for portfolio growth and quality
  • Create a pipeline through self-prospection aligned with target profiles
  • Convert leads generated/received
  • Implement group-wide quality of service standards
  • Analyze prospect needs and business models to build appropriate policies
  • Gather necessary information and coordinate with commercial and risk teams on quotations and prechecks
  • Ensure prospects understand policy coverage and processes before signing
  • Comply with underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline
  • Experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in Insurance; experience in Corporate Banking or Financial Services is an advantage
  • Market knowledge and ability to build extensive networks with clients and market players
  • Strong business acumen and expertise
  • Ability to generate and convert leads; results-driven with targets and KPIs
  • Understanding of Finance and Accounting basics
  • Basic knowledge of Generative AI platforms like ChatGPT and awareness of related risks
  • Interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, fluency in English and Arabic
  • Motivated, proactive, creative, and adaptable
