Position Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Company:

This opportunity is with a dynamic travel representation and marketing company based in Dubai, operating under the umbrella of a well-established travel media and communications group with over 25 years of industry expertise. The organisation specialises in providing strategic representation and branding solutions for National Tourism Offices (NTOs), airlines, hotels, and other stakeholders in the travel and hospitality industry. With a strong presence across Asia and the Middle East, the group is known for its integrated approach, combining media, events, and marketing services to enhance client visibility and market reach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Generate leads through outreach efforts, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and tailored proposals.
  • Negotiate and close business deals to meet revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign development and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance and maintain accurate pipeline reports.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital, social media, print, and PR channels.
  • Use market insights to guide communication strategies and brand messaging.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in business development or marketing with tourism boards, or should have been involved in securing representation agreements with NTO or similar international entities.
  • Familiarity with European cultures, languages, and travel trends is an advantage.
  • Experience in representing international tourism boards or clients from Europe is preferred.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint; ability to design compelling presentations.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
