What you’ll be working on:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within target markets for life, health, general, and corporate insurance products.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the brokerage’s portfolio of clients, including SMEs, corporate accounts, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs by closing new deals and growing existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term loyalty and retention.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs, offering tailored insurance solutions, and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Work closely with underwriting and claims teams to resolve client issues efficiently.
- Establish partnerships with key stakeholders such as financial institutions, corporate organizations, and affinity groups to drive referral business.
- Leverage networking events, seminars, and industry forums to represent the company and generate leads.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and policy servicing for clients.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
- Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, sales pitches, and presentations.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products, including life, health, property, liability, and corporate insurance solutions.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
