With an incredible portfolio of food & beverage products, NFPC currently has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Business Development Manager (Food Service channel) to join our team.

JOB PURPOSE

The role holder will assist the Food Service channel in driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities. This is an important role as a key interface with customers. The nature of this role is strongly inclined towards increasing visibility and sales of NFPC’s products.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KPIs

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting HORECA clients.
  • Identify and maximize new business opportunities inside the assigned outlet through networking, field visits etc. As well as analyze prospective customer profile and requirements and determine the business opportunities for NFPC.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the industry.
  • Understand client needs and propose customized solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Provide product recommendations and customized solutions based on client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing in line with company guidelines and profitability targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver excellent customer experiences.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree educated in Business, Food Science, Hospitality Management, or any related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in the Food Service/HORECA sector
  • Strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry, with a solid network of contacts
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
