Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing partnerships with clients in the construction industry, contributing to project approvals and qualifications, and coordinating with various departments to ensure successful project execution. This role requires technical expertise in the Fire Steel Profile division, particularly in Internal Glazing systems, and the ability to prepare commercial and technical submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain partnerships with clients in the construction industry.
• Contribute to achieving approvals and qualifications for upcoming projects.
• Coordinate with the Sales team to convert approvals into orders.
• Technically manage the Fire Steel Profile division, focusing on Internal Glazing systems in collaboration with Forster Profile Systems.
• Prepare and submit commercial and technical proposals.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure project alignment and success.
• Conduct tests to meet local authority requirements.
• Prepare quarterly competitive analysis to stay abreast of market trends.
• Oversee Internal Glazing systems, including Forster, RP-Technik, Aluflam, Vetrotech, and Pilkington.
• Prepare commercial offers and review shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with factory operations for fire-rated glazing, bullet-resistant, and decorative metal products.
• Plan, organize, and direct project activities related to the construction and maintenance of internal glazing installations.
• Collaborate with the Aluminium department on-site to complete scope and commissioning.
• Prepare workshop drawings for ongoing materials.
• Organize production orders and material take-offs.
• Attend factory visits to understand operations and production sequences.
• Liaise with consultant MEP supervisory engineers, inspectors, and relevant staff.
• Facilitate problem-solving, validate design issues, and suggest alternative solutions.
• Coordinate with different departments for raw material selection and finished goods supply.
• Maintain accurate records of all data processed manually and technologically.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, particularly in the construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of Fire Steel Profile and Internal Glazing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in preparing commercial and technical submissions.
• Ability to conduct market analysis and stay updated with industry trends.
