Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth, expanding market presence, and establishing strategic partnerships within the healthcare and medical devices sector. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the sales and marketing teams, ensuring timely adherence to schedules and report submissions.
  2. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions through targeted training, performance management, and guidance.
  3. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue growth, market penetration, and business objectives.
  4. Work closely with the sales team to communicate the benefits of products effectively, focusing on improving efficiency and patient outcomes.
  5. Conduct proactive research to identify new business prospects, targeting government clients, large businesses, and healthcare institutions within the UAE and regional markets such as Qatar, Oman, etc.
  6. Register the company with relevant entities to expand the customer base, fostering relationships with potential clients.
  7. Develop and execute strategies for entering new geographic markets or sectors, identifying opportunities for business growth.
  8. Develop and implement a comprehensive social media and digital marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, engage with potential customers, and expand the company’s online presence.
  9. Ensure products are marketed as high-quality, cost-effective, and innovative, differentiating them from competitors in the market.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows, showcasing products and strengthening brand visibility.
  11. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients, focusing on customer satisfaction, regular follow-ups, and identifying new opportunities for repeat business.
  12. Provide training and resources to the sales and marketing teams, equipping them with the tools to effectively promote new products and solutions.
  13. Address any concerns or challenges faced by clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  14. Lead and mentor sales, marketing and service staff, setting performance targets, providing ongoing training, and ensuring team goals are met.
  15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development initiatives with company goals and strategies.
  16. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  17. Prepare and present tailored proposals, contracts, and agreements to prospective clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
  18. Lead negotiations with clients to ensure favorable agreements that align with business objectives while fostering strong partnerships.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales management, or marketing within the healthcare or medical devices industry.
  3. Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
  4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive business decisions and growth.
  6. Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt strategies based on market feedback and business objectives.
