We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our client's expansion efforts in the Middle East.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the luxury retail/hospitality landscape and the ability to build strong relationships in the region.
Previous experience of working in the region is a must and local language skills are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for entering and growing in the Middle East market.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape in the retail sector.
Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential partners, vendors, and local authorities.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align strategies and ensure successful market entry.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with partners and suppliers to optimize business opportunities.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to refine strategies and achieve targets.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote brand awareness and establish connections.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the luxury retail sector.
Proven track record of successfully entering new markets and driving growth.
Strong understanding of the Middle Eastern retail landscape and cultural nuances.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
