THE ROLE

As part of our expansion, we are seeking a talented Business Sales Executive to drive adoption and growth of our comprehensive offerings, focusing on acquiring new customers.

Opportunities

  • Articulate and demonstrate Temenos solutions through strategic, value-based selling; build strong business cases; develop ROI analyses; and leverage industry data to foster relationships and close deals.
  • Engage with customer stakeholders to understand their bank's strategy, challenges, and opportunities, demonstrating how Temenos can support their objectives.
  • Create value by partnering with technical and non-technical executives to showcase the commercial and technological benefits of our solutions.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecast quarterly revenue, and balance short-term results with long-term strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy based on customer research and market insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless sales cycle execution and high customer advocacy.
  • Proactively foster long-term relationships with senior banking and financial services executives, thought leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with alliance partners and identify new market opportunities.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of the financial services industry, including trends, challenges, and innovations.
  • Approximately 15 years of success selling complex technology solutions, preferably core banking software, to financial institutions.
  • Experience selling SaaS and digital transformation projects.
  • Familiarity with Temenos and the banking industry.
  • Consultative and proactive sales approach with strong listening skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of translating business needs into engaging value propositions.
  • Experience working with partners and fostering collaboration.
  • Data-driven mindset, capable of storytelling with data to create value and motivate clients.
  • Adaptability to change and ambiguity.
  • Cultural awareness and experience working within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ambition, energy, and a passion for learning.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Business and technical background to engage C-level and IT teams effectively.
  • Experience selling to banks in UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, KSA, and Qatar, with international exposure and a global outlook.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
