Job description

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

We are looking for Business Development Manager to develop sales and implement strategies for our Vocera portfolio (Clinical Communication and Workflow) in the Middle East region. The role will be based in Dubai and includes regular travel across the territory (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain).

What you will do:

  1. Promote and sell Stryker Vocera products to meet our customers' needs.
  2. Identify, qualify, and close new customer sales opportunities; plan and implement effective territory sales strategy with accurate sales forecasts each week/month.
  3. Forecast and maintain necessary pipeline to support quota achievement.
  4. Advance opportunities efficiently and with a sense of urgency through the sales cycle; build and maintain executive and key customer relationships through the C-suite to build trust and close deals.
  5. Conduct solution-focused customer presentations including coordinating the involvement of all necessary internal team members.
  6. Ensure positive communication and collaboration with key internal partners and teams; use corporate resources effectively to maximize success of your territory by developing a business plan for the segment.
  7. Work with indirect teams (distributors) in the field to maximize customer touches and opportunities; conduct direct hospital sales activities and ensure smooth pull-through with distribution partners.
  8. Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discover and explore opportunities.

What you need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, medical, or related field.
  2. IT/Biomedical/Medical Engineering background.
  3. Minimum 5 years of sales experience in communication & information systems (both hardware and software) for hospitals and clinics.
  4. Experience in both direct and indirect sales.
  5. Demonstrated proficiency in managing complex sales cycles typically defined as six months or longer with multiple stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers at multiple levels.
  6. Solid understanding of communication technology trends and industry dynamics in healthcare.
  7. Ability to effectively convert leads into new relationships and closed deals.
  8. Proven track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding sales quotas.
