Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth efforts across the region. This individual will bring a strong background in data, AI, or technology, coupled with a deep understanding of enterprise and government landscapes. The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, technically informed, and highly motivated by results.

In this individual contributor role, you’ll be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and closing complex deals. Your efforts will directly influence the company’s expansion in the data and AI space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key enterprise and government stakeholders in the region.
  • Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
  • Independently lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and align offerings accordingly.
  • Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for various sectors, with a focus on data and AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solution alignment and deliver a strong value proposition.
  • Prepare and present proposals that clearly communicate value to client stakeholders.
  • Track sales performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  • Oversee post-sale execution, ensuring smooth implementation and stakeholder alignment.
About You
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B business development and account management, preferably within technology, data, or AI domains.
  • Background in consulting or advisory roles involving complex, data-driven or AI-led solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value B2B or B2G deals and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of influencing senior executives and C-level stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of commercial, legal, product, and financial aspects of deal-making.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly product and engineering.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Experience working within startup or scale-up environments.
  • GCC market experience is required. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a bias for action.
