Job description
  • Identify and prioritize new business opportunities through market research and analysis to drive company growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans that align with company objectives and maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that effectively promote products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements that benefit both the company and its clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies and improve overall business performance.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing value propositions.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring consistent follow-up and engagement.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads through networking.
  • Identify and research potential markets and client segments to develop targeted strategies for outreach and engagement.
  • Conduct thorough competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that can be leveraged for strategic advantage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development initiatives with marketing, sales, and product strategies.
  • Monitor and report on industry developments and market dynamics to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that drive revenue growth.
  • Create and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities, utilizing CRM tools for effective tracking and management.
  • Provide regular updates and forecasts to senior management regarding business development performance and strategic initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development or sales within a relevant industry, showcasing measurable success.
  • Certified Business Development Expert (CBDE) or similar credential to validate expertise in strategic growth and development.
  • Experience in technology, finance, or healthcare sectors is preferred, demonstrating adaptability to various market dynamics.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage for international dealings.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, enabling clear and persuasive dialogue with potential clients and partners.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a results-driven mindset, capable of overcoming objections and closing deals effectively.
  • Strong networking abilities with a track record of building and maintaining professional relationships across various levels.
  • A self-motivated individual with a passion for driving growth and a willingness to travel as needed for client meetings.
