A leading architectural firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across our Commercial Mixed-Use practice. With at least 5 years of experience in business development within the architecture or real estate development industry, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of cultivating lasting relationships with key developers and stakeholders—particularly within the UAE and wider Middle East region. This is a strategic role, working closely with practice leaders, regional teams, and marketing managers to expand market presence, drive business opportunities, and position the firm as a leader in the commercial mixed-use space.
Key Responsibilities :
- Strengthen and expand relationships with existing clients while actively developing new client opportunities.
- Identify and pursue business development initiatives aligned with the Commercial Mixed-Use practice's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with studio leaders and marketing teams to craft targeted business strategies and campaigns.
- Stay informed on industry trends, client needs, and competitive activity to maintain a market-leading position.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities to drive consistent growth.
- Lead strategic input on proposals, presentations, and client interviews to improve win rates.
- Support content development for marketing collateral tailored to the Commercial Mixed-Use sector.
- Coordinate regional business development efforts, including event planning and conference participation.
- Assist in the development and management of annual marketing budgets and travel forecasts.
- Recommend and contribute to speaking engagements, media opportunities, and other platforms that raise the firm’s profile.
- Manage and maintain accurate data in the firm’s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to track pursuits and relationships.
- Serve as a BD coach or trainer for internal teams, promoting a culture of client engagement and proactive business development.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of business development experience in the architecture, design, or real estate industry.
- Demonstrated success in building long-term relationships with developers and key decision-makers in the UAE / Middle East.
- Deep understanding of commercial mixed-use development and the design / construction lifecycle.
- Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Collaborative, goal-oriented, and able to work across multiple teams and time zones.
