Job description

This is a unique role and therefore requires experienced wholesale account managers from the fashion sector. Those with a focus on accessories are highly advantageous as the successful candidate will be focusing on this particular sector for a European Brand with rapid growth plans in the next 2-3 years. Acting as the main point of contact for existing accounts, as well as actively developing new customers across the MENA region, the Wholesale Fashion Business Development Executive will attend seasonal collection meetings and provide insight into regional trends and key customer demographics. You will be highly customer facing developing relationships throughout your network, attending customer meetings and supporting all stakeholders throughout the process, offering advice and market intelligence. Understanding of commercial factors and trends, you should be able to act quickly to grasp new opportunities and therefore those with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role in the UAE is essential. Reporting directly into the Country Sales Manager (also based in Dubai) the successful candidate will work closely with them to prepare budgets and reports concerning sales analysis, out-of-store data and brand awareness strategies.

The organisation works in a highly collaborative and inclusive manner, where you will be given autonomy and support to achieve your targets and personal career goals. Working independently and with a highly motivated approach it is essential that you have a minimum experience of 1 year in a similar role in Dubai. This is alongside any relevant wholesale retail experience outside of the UAE. An exceptional sales individual, you will be able to gain influence and network across the MENA region in order to remain one step ahead of the competition and have an excellent understanding of the fashion accessories market.
