A leading company in the smart home and ELV solutions sector is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive sales growth and manage client relationships. The role encompasses sales, project coordination, and technical support, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a background in engineering. Job Summary & Purpose:
The Business Development Executive plays a key role in both sales growth and project execution within the smart home and ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems segment. This role combines business development, client engagement, and project coordination responsibilities to ensure a seamless customer journey—from lead generation to project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have experience in smart home solutions, with the ability to manage client relationships, coordinate with contractors, prepare proposals, and oversee installation timelines. The position requires both commercial acumen and technical coordination skills, along with a passion for smart technology and customer satisfaction.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities:
Sales & Business Development
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities for smart home and ELV solutions in residential and commercial sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
• Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, and support in closing deals.
• Assist in developing and executing sales plans to meet assigned targets.
Client & Project Coordination
• Act as a key point of contact between the client and the technical team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage installation schedules, ensuring coordination between contractors and project deadlines.
• Conduct site visits to ensure readiness and alignment with proposed solutions.
• Support the resolution of technical and operational issues during project execution.
Presales & Technical Support
• Work with the technical team to design customized solutions based on client requirements.
• Provide clients with technical insights during the presales process to aid in decision-making.
Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of all proposals, contracts, communications, and project documentation.
• Use CRM tools to track leads, sales pipeline, and customer engagement.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and project status.
Product & Market Knowledge
• Stay updated on the latest smart home and ELV technologies and trends.
• Conduct competitor research to identify market opportunities and areas of improvement.
Requirements
Experience (Yrs & Field): 4 years of experience in sales, project coordination, or technical support—preferably in smart home, ELV, or related fields.
Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics)
Professional Certifications Relevant certifications will be considered a valuable asset and will significantly enhance the candidate's qualifications
Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of smart home technologies and installation processes.
Good command of CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to create accurate quotations and manage basic contracts.
Valid UAE driving license and personal vehicle (mandatory for client and site visits).
