Business Development Executive - Freight

A Business Development Executive - Freight acts as the key point of contact between the organization and its clients. Responsibilities include answering queries, offering advice, and introducing new products.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or High School diploma with more than 3 years of combined experience in Land, Air, and Ocean freight.
Achievement of Sales Targets
  • Generate, maintain, and monitor a robust sales pipeline for new business by building sustainable and profitable relationships with potential clients. Report progress to senior management.
  • Achieve sales objectives related to value, product, and service mix.
  • Coordinate and submit proposals and tender submissions.
  • Identify key decision-makers and leverage opportunities to promote and sell company products and services.
  • Work with the sales manager to develop strategies for generating repeat business from existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales manager to cross-sell and up-sell to existing clients.
  • Maintain knowledge of ZAJEL's product and service portfolio and develop sales strategies for each to meet business objectives.
  • Create and implement effective direct and indirect sales strategies to expand customer reach and enhance communication.
Planning and Forecasting
  • Contribute to medium-term planning and provide inputs for management.
  • Participate in forecast meetings and assist as needed.
  • Support the sales manager in developing sales strategies.
  • Coordinate with other business units to plan, negotiate, and interpret information on ZAJEL’s products and services.
Client Management
  • Build and maintain strong, ongoing customer relationships by understanding their needs.
  • Manage client relations by soliciting and recording feedback.
  • Assist in onboarding and integrating new clients and sellers.
