The Regional Facility Design Engineering Manager for LAM & IMEA, is a SME and leadership role reporting to the Global Head of Fulfilled by Maersk Engineering, independently applying extensive and diversified knowledge of MHE and automation design, and engineering design principles in a high paced growth focused company.
The Regional Facility Design Engineering Manager will recruit and manage a team of Design Engineers, providing leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to ensure the successful design, and delivery of high quality, cost effective MHE and automation solutions for our warehousing and fulfilment assets at Maersk.
They will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the team deliverables are met to input design, cost and program information into investment proposals, to create efficient and cost-effective design solutions, and to ensure on-time, and on-cost execution of MHE, storage and automation design solutions to enable maximum revenue returns for Maersk.
As a key member of the Maersk Engineering and Construction Leadership team, they will support the development and growth of the team, and be a key contributor to shaping the team strategic direction, maximizing the team value-add to Maersk in delivering efficient, quality driven assets.
