Job description

Salary: AED 18k per Month

Edge Resourcing is searching for a Business Development Executive on behalf of an international law firm with a well-established and successful marketing and business development team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of business development and marketing activities including bids, targeting, data management, and events.

Principal Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting fee earners in preparing bids, including advising on best practice, gathering information, and drafting documents.
  2. Project managing the bid process from bid alert and bid/no bid through to planning, preparation, production, and de-brief.
  3. Developing, updating, and maintaining the bid toolkit and database.
  4. Maintaining the regional bid tracking system.
  5. Assisting with the organisation of the bids and opportunity pipeline system to ensure opportunities are recorded and maximized to support fee conversion.
  6. Undertaking briefing sessions with the team to develop project case studies for use in sales activities, bids, and other marketing documents.
  7. Undertaking research into clients and targets, colleagues, and competitors to support activities.
  8. Working with the Regional Head of Marketing and Business Development to hold sessions with country and sector champions on targeting activities.
  9. Assisting with rehearsals for meetings and presentations and managing the development of support material as required.
  10. Performing de-briefs with teams post-meeting/presentation to get feedback and plan follow-up activities.
  11. Helping with the development and management of marketing collateral and events to support activities.

The ideal candidate will be polished, degree-educated, articulate, and well-presented. You will ideally have 2 years of experience within a business-to-business marketing environment and be able to interface confidently and professionally with senior management and partners. Experience of working within a similar capacity supporting a partnership is a plus.
