This position plays a key role in advancing its expansion goals and driving revenue and profitability across multiple verticals.

Role Purpose

The Business Development Director will lead the group's Services and Structures verticals, spearheading sales and growth initiatives while identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities. The role is responsible for building and maintaining long-term client relationships—particularly within the Government and Defense sectors—and ensuring sustainable revenue and profitability growth aligned with the company's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company\'s business development strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, especially within Government and Defense sectors.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value, complex deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Operations) to align go-to-market strategies and achieve revenue goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide strategic decisions.
  • Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Prepare business cases, forecasts, and performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Lead and mentor the Business Development and Commercial Bid teams to achieve or exceed budgeted targets.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Experience within service or customer-focused industries.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven business tools and integrations.
  • Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years\' experience in business development, commercial operations, or strategic partnerships, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue and profit growth and successfully closing complex deals.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English preferred.
