Business Development Director

The Business Development Director will guide and provide leadership and strategic direction to the development and implementation of the Development and Asset Management function, including business development, corporate strategy, business and growth strategy, innovation, and partnerships.

1. Identify and manage strategic partnerships for the core MAF Entertainment and adjacent businesses as well as new growth avenues.
2. Lead the team in managing end-to-end business development agreements/partnerships that drive value across Entertainment, including identifying, creating, leading, structuring, negotiating, and implementing such agreements.
3. Develop and maintain strong industry knowledge in new areas of focus for Majid Al Futtaim, understanding global as well as industry-specific trends related to the business.
4. Manage the delivery of insightful analyses on new opportunities based on industry/market trends and competitive dynamics to identify threats and improvement/expansion areas.
5. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and assess the feasibility of new markets and products.
6. Analyze competitor strategies and industry trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
7. Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure customer needs are met and to identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
8. Oversee financial planning and budget management for business development activities.

1. Experience: Over 10 years of related professional experience in senior entertainment roles, corporate development, business development, or consultancy.
2. Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
3. Excellent analytical, strategic, and conceptual thinking skills.
4. Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
