  • Conduct warm outreach to existing SJP contacts to secure appointments and uncover new business opportunities for the Partnership.
  • Provide regular prospecting reports to the Marketing and Field Management Teams.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs aligned with business development goals.
  • Support Partners with ad hoc business development initiatives, including administrative tasks and attendance at networking events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients and Prospects, ensuring exceptional support for both parties.
  • Stay informed on the latest developments in the financial services landscape to better support clients and Partners.
  • Accurately record and manage lead information within Salesforce to track prospect interactions.
  • Assess and prioritise new business opportunities in collaboration with Partners.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Associate to support our continued growth by generating new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing contacts. This role plays a crucial part in identifying and nurturing leads, supporting Partners, and contributing to the wider business development and marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Outreach:

  • Conduct warm outreach to existing SJP contacts to secure appointments and uncover new business opportunities for the Partnership.

Reporting & KPI Achievement:

  • Provide regular prospecting reports to the Marketing and Field Management Teams.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs aligned with business development goals.

Partner Support & Coordination:

  • Support Partners with ad hoc business development initiatives, including administrative tasks and attendance at networking events.
  • Arrange and coordinate first meetings between Partners and new leads.

Client & Prospect Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Clients and Prospects, ensuring exceptional support for both parties.
  • Communicate relevant business updates to maintain engagement and satisfaction.

Industry Knowledge & Internal Learning:

  • Stay informed on the latest developments in the financial services landscape to better support clients and Partners.
  • Actively participate in internal workshops to enhance knowledge of SJP and the wider industry.

Brand Advocacy:

  • Represent and advocate for the brand at all times, creating positive awareness in both digital and in-person settings.

Collaboration & Campaign Support:

  • Work closely with Marketing and Field Management Teams to identify and segment Prospects through digital campaigns and networking initiatives.

CRM Management:

  • Accurately record and manage lead information within Salesforce to track prospect interactions and ensure smooth handovers to Partners.

Opportunity Evaluation:

  • Assess and prioritise new business opportunities in collaboration with Partners, ensuring efforts are focused on high-potential leads.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs
  • Organised and efficient, with strong attention to detail
