Job description

Synopsis

We have an opportunity as a Business Development Analyst within the regional Steering and Business Development Management teams. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving Etihad's B2B sales channel performance for an assigned portfolio of markets, working closely with local sales leadership, frontline sales, HDQ, Revenue Management, Commercial Enablement, and other stakeholders in the pursuit of RASK and quality revenue maximization.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

  1. Proactively identify quality revenue and RASK maximization opportunities based on data analysis.
  2. Regularly analyze and monitor market/competition for all segments and channels within the assigned portfolio to identify threats and opportunities, with full commentary on performance drivers.
  3. Contribute to the creation of action plans for the assigned portfolio of markets.
  4. Ensure relevant market intelligence is regularly shared between local markets and HQ.
  5. Drive positive engagement with local sales leadership, frontline sales, revenue management, and other stakeholders.
  6. Support and implement analytical techniques, procedures, and systems to evaluate sales strategies and actions, including incentive/commission programs, corporate agreements, private fares, and related programs.
  7. Maintain a log of key sales actions taken and measure their impact on market share, revenue, and incremental revenue.
  8. Drive robust sales planning ensuring country plans align with global guidelines.
  9. Support and maintain the quality of Etihad’s sales CRM, sales tools, and data sources.
Education & Experience
  • University degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Strong team player with cultural awareness and understanding.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong business acumen.
  • Advanced Excel and data modeling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
