About the role

Orange Wholesale International is seeking a dynamic and autonomous Business Developer to drive the growth of emerging technology services, including Wholesale-as-a-Platform (WaaP), Satellite Backhaul, eSIMs, and Roaming VAS. The role requires strong analytical skills, deep market knowledge, and a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.

About you

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for WaaP, Satellite Backhaul, eSIMs, etc.
  • Build and execute a strategic business development plan to grow revenue and market share in these areas.
  • Develop partnerships with telecom operators, service providers, and technology partners.

2. Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and key players.
  • Utilize industry reports, regulatory updates, and internal data to define go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide business cases, pricing models, and feasibility studies for new opportunities.

3. Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Work closely with the sales and technical teams to develop tailored solutions for customers.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients and partners.
  • Monitor customer feedback and market demand to adjust strategies and improve offering

4. Autonomy & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Manage projects independently and proactively drive initiatives without constant supervision.
  • Collaborate with OINIS, Sofrecom, sales, and product teams to align business development efforts.
  • Represent Orange Wholesale International at industry events, conferences, and forums

Language & Communication Skills

  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written). Arabic is a plus
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Industry Knowledge & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in telecom, wholesale, or technology-related business development.
  • Strong understanding of wholesale telecom, mobile networks, satellite communications, eSIMs, and roaming solutions.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales, partnership models, and revenue generation strategies.

Analytical & Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to source, analyze, and interpret market data to create actionable insights.
  • Experience in building business cases and financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.

Autonomy & Proactivity

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving results.
