Job description

1. Job Purpose

  • Ensure all data entry processes and tasks are completed in line with Sharjah co-op policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all data entered into the system is correct and accurate.

Maintain database by entering new/updating items and BDA information.

2. Key Accountabilities

  • Collect data and update in the concerned system accurately (description, listing, barcodes, pricing, costing, and RSP (retail selling price), parameters (automatic orders, reordering level, inventory, stock)).
  • Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
  • Responsible for informing the line manager of the accuracy of information before entering into the concerned system to avoid data inconsistency.
  • Resolve deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the line manager for resolutions.
  • Translate item descriptions (Arabic & English) and ensure translated items convey original meaning.
  • Update BDA and stock positions reports, listing payment, and promotion deduction.
  • Fill report templates and any other data or information as per the line manager's requirement.
  • Assist team members in any other tasks that may arise as required.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
