This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Diseases.
This is a fixed-term contract role for 12 months.

The business coordinator will support the Regional General Manager, Regional Heads of Sales, and Country Managers in French West Africa in all aspects related to developing sales strategies and campaigns. Acting as the first point of contact for Africa and International team members, as well as for new business leads and product inquiries. Contributing to various business functions including marketing, regulatory compliance, legal, OEC, finance, and data analysis. Ensuring the sales team meets its targets through efficient coordination and support.
What You'll Do :
- Drive weekly regional reviews with RD’s and CM’s on Covid Business, New Business and Focus product Business.
- Lead weekly pipeline reporting, review, and management with French West Africa commercial team (Sales, marketing, market access).
- Update French West Africa Sales Outlook file on a weekly basis ensuring all pipeline queries are updated and orders received are captured.
- Deep dive into sales opportunities and assist team to overcome internal barriers to success. Ensuring PO’s are in to meet quarterly targets.
- Work with all internal stakeholders to find a common working platform and drive assistance to the sales team to deliver the numbers.
- Support in administrative duties for commercial leaders in French West Africa region.
- Organize regional Demand file with Regional Sales Managers to prepare the monthly forecast file using input from SFDC, the business pipeline tracker, and the Country Managers' feedback.
- Manage Sales Funnel: support Country Managers in updating and tracking business order pipeline weekly, providing timely updates on sales performance and order fulfillment.
- Follow up with customer service and supply chain teams to track the execution of all critical steps in order fulfillment.
- Project Management, e.g., New Product Introduction, collecting country data and sales potentials, mapping closure, and working with marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, and commercial teams to close sales.
- Ensure daily and weekly reporting submission to Sales Leads on specific sales projects.
- Ensure the sales team follows internal processes for POR creation, vendor, and event management.
- Ensure team compliance with OEC approval processes for meetings, events, and conferences.
- Assist in processing FOC samples for evaluation, validation, or registration within the region.
- Support the CMS with documentation for Tenders and RFQ requirements, and submit Tender applications when required.
- Follow up with sales team on forecast review and alignment.
- Follow up on orders and alignment with finance team.
- Ensure timely data uploads and validation on Sales Force.COM by country managers.
- Assist sales team to ensure all distribution partners have updated contracts and are kept informed.
- Review Distributor service fee schedules and provide process guidelines to close outstanding service fees.
- Log and follow up on sales leads for specific projects.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a senior sales assistant.
- English and French written and spoken is mandatory.
- Attention to detail and data handling skills.
- Problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, business skills, and time management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
