Business Continuity Manager

As Business Continuity Manager (BCM), you will develop, maintain and test business continuity and disaster recovery programs for the entity. You will be responsible for ensuring operational resilience by facilitating critical business planning activities, performing business impact analyses, risk assessments and overseeing the creation and testing of response and recovery plans.

Description

1. Develop and implement a business continuity management framework aligned with organizational goals.
2. Lead Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and risk assessments to identify critical functions, recovery priorities and potential threats.
3. Create, update and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) based on identified risks.
4. Coordinate and execute testing strategies (e.g., tabletop exercises, simulations) to ensure BCP/DRP readiness and effectiveness.
5. Lead crisis management efforts and serve as the primary point of contact during disruptions, coordinating with key stakeholders.
6. Design training programs to promote business continuity awareness, ensure compliance and report regularly on program status and improvements.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, IT or a related field.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in business continuity planning or disaster recovery with large entities in the GCC.
3. Proven expertise in developing and managing business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
4. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
5. Relevant certifications (CBCP, MBCP, or equivalent) and strong leadership, collaboration and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
