Job summary

A UK law firm based in the DIFC is seeking a proactive and highly organised Business Assistant to join their Business Services team. This varied role provides essential support to legal teams, helping ensure smooth administration and management of client matters throughout their lifecycle.

Working closely with Partners, lawyers, secretaries and business services teams, you will play a key role in day-to-day operations and delivering an excellent client experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative, business support or professional services environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities with accuracy.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Support administration and coordination of client matters from inception through to completion.
  • Assist with client onboarding processes, including matter opening and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare, review and maintain engagement documentation and matter records.
  • Liaise with Partners, lawyers and support teams to ensure matters are progressed efficiently.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Secretarial teams to support matter management and client service activities.
  • Monitor key matter milestones and assist with administrative follow-up actions.
  • Support the preparation of client reports, correspondence and other practice-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data is kept up to date across relevant systems.
  • Assist with ad hoc practice support, operational projects and team initiatives as required.

This is a varied role that provides essential support to their legal teams, helping to ensure the smooth administration and management of client matters throughout their lifecycle. Working closely with Partners, lawyers, secretaries and business services teams, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy legal practice and delivering an excellent client experience.

This is a full -time position, working 9am to 6pm.

With two days in the office and 3 days working from home each week.
